Today I was looking around the tank to see if I could find Pedro, our diamond goby. He had been missing since saturday. Well I found him today behind the tank. =( poor Pedro. Now I need a knew goby to keep the sand clean.... Anyway, I was also wondering if I could get some info on my Bubbletip anemone. It hasn't been too happy lately. It keeps mooving to the back of the rock its on, and it wont open all the way. The tentacles also wont blow up. I can't feed it at all and my clown has stoped useing it. My params are normal, exept nitrate is a little high. Calcium is normal and I have it under 4 SuperActinic VHO's. Ever since it split into 2 anemones, it doesnt want to cooperate. __________________

How old are the bulbs in
Submitted by 180reefer on Sat, 2008-07-26 11:04.How old are the bulbs in your fixture, and how old is your test kit. I would recommend you take a sample to one of the stores to get a second opinion on the water quality. Since anemones use photosynthesis as part of their "diet" the lighting could be a contributing factor.
