I just got one of these things. I was very disapointed with the amount of bubbles that were going into my tank. I have invented the "bottle mod" lol. I will explain what I did incase anyone has one that is shoting bubbles into the tank.
1- get mad...
2- empty the contents of a small 16oz water bottle
3- cut a hole in the bottle about the size the output pipe in the side of the bottle torwards the bottom of the bottle.
4- shove the bottle down the output chamber of the skimmer so that the top of the bottle is facing down and sort of to the right(aimed at the reaction chamber)

if done correctly it will get rid of almost all of the bubbles. I have maybe one micro bubble go in the tank every 30 seconds.
