auctionm was looooong, but kicked butt

What a day! I knew it started at 12:00pm, but I didn't know that it went as long as it did. I left around 8pm and it wasn't over yet!

It was awesome! I believe everyone had a good time! There was alot of great stuff to bid on! I sold all my stuff and pleased with the selling prices and I came away with a few nice items also. The auction ended around 8:45. We finally headed out around 9:15. The guy at Bishop Verot was kind to let us stay as long as he did. You missed a great time!

Holy cow - What an event! I will post tomorrow ... too tired to type, or think.

I had a great time. It was great meeting some of you and being able to put a face with the name.

Skipinlehigh, Jeff, Marcos and Christina I don't want to single you guys out but all 4 of you made me feel right at home even though I had never met any of you previously. Thanks for not making me feel like an outsider looking in.

James and Julian were both very interesting and informative during their lectures. Heck the hour they each had to talk seemed like it was only 5-10 minutes that they spoke.

All the frags I won yesterday are open and doing great. The wife likes all the new additions. I did suffer one casualty but it was a fish. The Yellow watchman was very distressed, breathing heavy, and barely moving by the time I got home and he did not make it through the night. Other than that everything is doing great! Hopefully, we as a club made a few dollars.

glad to hear the auction went well. My boyfriend pat and I attended the meeting yesterday and won alot of nice prizes in the raffle but, were unable to stay for the auction.

OK . Auction was great - we had over 200 items. We wrapped it up around 8.45pm if i remember correctly. I believe everybody made out good.
It was great to see how many SPS guys we have in the area ... maybe next time i'll bring some more, and we'll see if we can't get some rarer stuff, there are a few of us that have Tyree, LE, and other nice stuff.
