dosed my tank last night for red bugs. First treatment went well. Half a large pill grinded up, and poured in the tank. Red bugs were getting real bad in my tank, but now there is none. I lost my hermitt crabs, but the pods, and the cleaner shrimp lived. Stayed tuned... Lets hope my other 2 treatments go as well as the first. __________________

Submitted by wiszmaster on Thu, 2007-12-06 12:22.As of this morning, I've lost alot of my crabs (hermits/scarletts) & some of my cleaner shrimp. I just stopped by home to find the pump feeding the chiller & skimmer had popped the hose ... thats fixed.
Saw 3 cleaner shrimp moving about in the tank - slow but they are moving & alive.
My linkia & fromia starts seem fine.

Read up on the dragonface
Submitted by artistikaquariums on Mon, 2007-12-10 04:25.Read up on the dragonface pipefish (Corythoichthys haematopterus). May be another solution for red bugs that doesn't kill hermits and shrimp dead.
