From there, we may want to

From there, we may want to go over to Sanibel. I used to collect pistol shrimp on the first island going over the bridge and shrimp (glass and mysis) at the park by the last bridge.

Make sure everyone has a valid florida saltwater fishing license. Can be picked up at most any bait shop and Wal-Mart.

Jeff, do you have a source

Jeff,

do you have a source for a reliable tide chart?

"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day and drink beer."

NBC-2.com also has a great

NBC-2.com also has a great tide link to Florida Fish and Wildlife.

Go to the weather forecast page and at the top of the page click on tides. It will allow you to choose the place and date. For Bunche Beach use Point Ybel. FYI, that is the Sanibel Lighthouse.

Best low tide of the day is at 3:13 a.m with a weak low tide at 4:24 p.m.
