Below is the proposed meeting schedule for 2019. 

As meeting topics and dates are confirmed, we will highlight them in green.

 

January 19 – Field Trip to Mote Aquarium in Sarasota

March 2 -  Field Trip to Florida Aquaculture facility in Apollo Beach  

March 30 – James Fatherree - Aquarium Photography  in Estero

April 20 – Tour of Aquariums

May 25 - Marc Levenson (aka melev) - Aquarium Plumbing in Estero 

June 15-16 – Keys Field Trip

July 20 – Public BOD Meeting  &  Guest Speaker in Estero

August 17 - Field Trip to Boyd Enterprises in Plantation

September  21-  Guest speaker, workshop, or panel discussion

October 20 – Frag Auction at Riverside Community Center in Fort Myers

November 16 – Build Your Own Rock Workshop at Jeff's in Lehigh  

December 7 – Holiday Party 

 

We are open to suggestions for future meetings. This is the thread for that discussion!!

This is a great list of meetings. Thanks for all the work it takes to pull this together.

 

Any chance the Frag Auction can have a raffle like the ones we have had in the past at Reef Conferences... since there is no reef conference?

Updated for confirmed March speaker.  February will be a field trip, just haven't locked down the final details.  Hopefully lock it down tomorrow.

update - finally got a confirmation for February (although now the first Saturday of March).  Still working on a second stop for that field trip.
