  6. 2016 Tour Of Aquariums

Little last minute but I would also be willing to show everyone my tank. I'm 10 min NW from Eric and Ron. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. My sister saw a frag at the reef store but someone bought it before I could. Anyone have a frag for sale? Thank you! Shoot me a text if you like. Also if you have something in a similar price range shoot me a photo. Thanks again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I have basically the same tank. I bought my tank for 800$ and it came with all garbage equipment. Your tank is only as reliable as the equipment running it! Let's just say I ended up spending a lot more than $800, even a lot more than $2000. Equipment adds up quickly and at 6 months I still consider this stuff new. (Some of mine at the time was going on 10 years) I would gear this tank towards someone new to the hobby. I'm very confident if you have the time to wait it will definitely sell for what your asking (very fair price IMO) I think experienced hobbyists have a hard time buying someone else's "setup". This tank is literally plug and play. If only I had a time machine! Good luck with sale! Awesome price, hate to see it have to drop any lower. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Baby Corals / Ted Talk

This might explain why I have baby coral pop up throughout the tank. Nice find Ron! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'm unable to make it to the local stores due to being out of town. So I was wondering if anyone could put together a frag pack. Looking for between 10-20 frags at $100-$200. Thanks guys and enjoy your thanksgiving! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Anyone Else Giving Out Purple Up For Halloween?

That's a good one ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Tank Temperature?

I run 3 300w heaters to maintain 78.1 It's my understanding from an old fourm thread somewhere that higher temps will speed up things like metabolism of fish. Colder temps tend to be safer. As far as coral growth I have no clue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Quiet Aquarium

I've had something like that happen to me. I didn't get shocked because I have a ground. You could get one unless you already have one. Anyways this was mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk What they look like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Scavengers Question?

Almost two months ago I decided to double the amount of water changes I do for a cleaner heather tank. All my livestock has visually benefited from this decision. Including corals and fish. My question is with the lack of algae that was present before. How good are some of my scavengers at getting what they need to survive and be happy. Some I can list: Serpent star Large Boxing Shrimp Maybe even my yellow eye kole tang he's always pickin Emerald crab Ext Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Acropora Turning Brown?

I agree on maybe looking into some different test kits. Not exactly saying Api is a bad text kit but there is definitely better options when advancing to the more difficult corals. For example I still use the ammonia test via Api. I know first hand how hard it is to get constant tests on Api especially on the calcium test. (I hated doing it, soooooo many drops. It drove me crazy) I personally love the Red Sea kit. I think it's about $50 but has lasted me a very long time. Simple fast and accurate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
